Babbling Beauty

The thought of starting a blog always crossed my mind. Thinking of the fact that I need to “write” was overwhelming. I felt like I was always not good enough to create good content. I tried and tried, like a hundred times, to quit BUT I always end up coming back.

WhatzBuzzin” and “Beauty By Mommy” were just a couple of titles I named my blog. Started on the good ‘ole blogger platform, I finally created one (or two). But I got tired and did not put any effort in growing it – at all!

Forward to few years, my gut is still telling me to create a lifestyle blog. Can I do it this time or will I flake, yet again?

Introducing, Babbling Beauty – a repertoire of my life & style. I promised myself that time will be different. That I will put effort and actually work on growing my blog and see where it goes. It wasn’t easy!

It’s just recently, 2 years to be exact, that I started to see my blog grow. There’s engagement and follows. There’s brands who wanted to work with me and trust me with their products. I was able to meet new bloggers and go to events, that I thought I would never attend. Found new connections through social media. I also just recently launched my flatlay shop

Through all these, I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. Writer’s block, they call it. It still makes me cringe hearing that term because I don’t really consider myself as a writer, an established one at least. I even had a 4 months hiatus, which affected my blog SO MUCH! But if you have passion for something, you keep coming back to it. Your hand just itches to write. You see so much around you that you want to share to the world.

I created this blog as my voice. To share my point of view about something. To engage and connect to people. I want my readers to be able to relate to what I’m writing. I want them to be “in the know”.

A Little About Me

I am married to a wonderful husband, who helped me through my blogging journey. He has always been supportive of my “bligidiblogging”, as he calls it. He taught me all the things I need to know when it comes to useful blogging resources

We have a beautiful 6 year old daughter, who is always patient for Mommy. She always finds my work “cool“. She is the reason why I love doing what I’m doing. Her personality is to not give up

My Mom and I migrated here from the Philippines back in 2010. A lot of things happened then, like A LOT. She has been an inspiration to me and they are the reason why I keep on going.

This journey was a roller coaster. It may come easy now but I still have a long way to go. Just as long as we keep on pushing, we’ll get there!
