Summer season = beach for days!

That’s pretty much what we do most of the days now because I just can’t stay inside my house without dripping in sweat! If we’re not at the mall, you’ll find at the nearest beach in our city.

The beach is the # go to place when it’s sunny outside but the big question always comes to mind (at least for me), are you beach ready?

By that, it just means, do you have your beach towels or sunscreen?

If you’re still struggling or just want to keep yourself reminded of the essentials for the beach, then keep reading.

  1. Swim wear

You can’t go to the beach or the pool without your swim wear now, can’t you? I always dreaded wearing swim suit in public because I was always self conscious. This year, I promised myself to get at least close to my pre-baby body. Just in time, Essential Botanic sent me their Cleanse & Detox Diet Tea. Honestly, I am not a big tea drinker but I was curious to try this out and see if they live up to what they claim.

It was a 15 day detox tea and I am surprised by the results. I lost about 10 lbs by the end of the 15 days. I impressed with them. I also watched what I ate and just stuck to eating healthy and portion control.

Now onto my swim wear faves. I am obsessing with the scalloped styles lately and below are some of my chosen brands.

2. Sunscreen

You can never leave your house or go to the beach without carrying a sunscreen. It’s just a no-no. I always bring one for myself and one for my daughter. It helps protect your skin from those harsh rays of the sun and avoid getting skin cancer.

3.  Beach Bag

Carry all your belonging in a stylish (and waterproof) beach bags. I got mine from Ross and I am obsessed with it. Check out some of my favorite styles and designs below.

4. Sunglasses
Sunscreen is not the only thing that will protect you from the sun. Sunglasses are not only useful during a trip to the beach but also stylish and cute. Check out some of the styles I love.

5. Moisturizer
After a long day at the beach, my skin tends to be dry and sticky. When I get home, I take a soothing bathe with a drip or two of the Joy Moisturizing Bath Oil. It leaves my skin soft and soothing. When I don’t use it in the shower, I usually just apply it on my dry skin and it helps it moisturize.
Do you think you’re beach ready yet?

I’m interested in that tea! Did you have any negative side effects (like anxiousness or your heart racing)?
